Who can you really trust? What is really true? Are there clear and credible answers to life's biggest questions?
Our culture is in a crisis of conflicting beliefs. We have different political beliefs, religious viewpoints, cultural practices, and personal convictions. The complexity of life leaves many wondering if anything can be trusted or true. Can people in power be trusted? Can governments, politicians, banks, police, and educators all be trustworthy? How about organized religion? As a result, many people are confused and skeptical—trusting no one, believing in nothing.
Sometimes our beliefs let us down because they are not based in truth. Many of us grew up believing in God, but we also believed in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. We are left to wonder…
Who can we really trust and what is really true?
In this, we long for clear and credible answers to our biggest spiritual questions:
Is it rational for you and I to believe in a literal Jesus who rose from the dead? Can we trust the Bible as a source of truth? Is there really a heaven, or is it just a myth? And what about God—does He exist? How can we know that, and if He is real, can He be trusted?
The good news is that you don’t have to throw your brains in the garbage can in order to be a person of faith. Life’s most important questions can be answered reasonably and reliably. There are reasons for us to trust and reasons for us to believe. Most importantly…
There are reasons for us to hope!
That's what this series is all about. Life is about to get much more certain and sensible for you. Join us in this six-week study, and get ready to experience fresh hope in your life!
“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” 1 Peter 3:15
